Welcome to our S1 class page! Our class consists of 7 nursery to P2 pupils.

In our class, we aim to create a welcoming and calming space where children can reach their full potential. Our pupils have settled very well into our daily structure during their first term. We have welcomed four new children this year and we can see their personalities starting to shine through as they become more comfortable in the setting.

We are dedicated to ensuring our pupils individual needs are met daily. We do this by providing a communication-friendly environment using AAC(), Makaton and visual schedules to ensure consistency for our pupils. We have sensory-friendly spaces and engaging, hands-on activities to make learning accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Our weekly timetable consists of Attention Autism, Literacy, Numeracy, Cookery, TACPAC (Touch and Communication Package), Music, Sensology and daily indoor/outdoor play which the children love. We are so proud our pupils already this yeas and we look forward to seeing them progress more as the year continues!
