As part of our (nearly finished!) Titanic topic, we had held a challenge today to see who could design and build the most effective boat from a small sheet of tin foil. The winning boat (designed by Abraham and Amelia) held an incredible 59 marbles in it before sinking!! We had great fun exploring different designs along the way as well as refining our understanding of what would sink or float in a separate investigation. What a fun afternoon! :)
