Day 2 update

Thank you to everyone who came along to collect your home learning packs. It was lovely to get a chance to talk to you and we really appreciate that you understand we are all in the same boat. Your home learning packs are there to guide you over the next few weeks. Please do not panic about the work sent home. It is meant to be revision and practice for your child. If you choose not to do it, that is your choice. If you choose to do it, that is your choice too. Over the coming weeks, we plan to send home information and online links on the school website. These will be ideas and suggestions because we are worried that we are not offering enough. Use these if they suit you and don't if they don't! If you are getting stressed about it, it's time to switch off the internet and do the Daily Mile or have family time instead.

Do not worry that your child will fall behind. They won't! All children are in the same position. The packs are all revision and practice. If children could learn new concepts without teaching, we would all be out of a job!! We will pick up on the teaching once we are back to normal. Let them play, enjoy family time, get fresh air. You will do a great job. Love your children and support them through this difficult time.
