Our Foundation Stage children loved creating their very own grass heads during their recent Gardening and Growing topic. They planted grass seeds, decorated their creations and added faces, and then gave each one a special name. The children carefully watered their grass heads each day and made sure they had plenty of sunshine to help them grow.
As the ‘hair’ grew longer, the children measured it using cubes, before becoming hairdressers and giving their grass heads a trim and a new hairstyle!
