Joy of Moving is a programme designed to inspire active lifestyles in children. It aims to teach children how to enjoy moving through play and to help them develop positive habits for adulthood. The Winter Games, which follows the successful Joy of Moving Home School Festivals in the summer of 2020, will take the form of a Winter Adventure with an exciting selection of games and activities that you and your children can play along the way.
In addition to helping us stay active, this programme provides the chance for schools to win £500 worth of PE equipment. To be in with a chance of winning this prize, please take a picture or video of you all playing the games and completing the Winter Adventure and send it to your teacher via Seesaw. The pictures and videos will then be uploaded to the school Facebook page using #JOMWinterGames.
