Our children enjoyed a special visit from a nurse as part of our ‘People who help us’ topic. She came dressed in her uniform and talked to the children about the important work she does to help keep people healthy. The children were fascinated as she showed them some of the equipment she uses and explained how it works. She taught the children how to find and feel their own pulses, which they loved practising together. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn about real-life helpers in our community.
