Hello Key Stage 1 mums and dads, boys and girls!
All aspects of homework will be up and running this week - from Monday 5th October.
Homework will be set on ‘Seesaw’ which you can access using your QR code or via password. Pupil log in information was sent home Friday week ago. Hopefully you've had a chance to practise logging in and checked out the App.
At 2pm on Monday afternoons homework will go live on the App. Homework may be completed in any order. We have a suggested outline below but this can be edited to fit your week. However, we would encourage you to spend at least 10 minutes a night reading with your child and daily practise spellings and tables. Reading books must be returned on a Thursday and all other homework should be returned by Friday at the latest.
SUGGESTED HOMEWORK OUTLINE:
Reading (10 minutes + daily)
Spellings (daily)
Number Facts / Tables (daily)
Monday: Mental maths activity
Tuesday: Literacy activity
Wednesday: Numeracy activity
Thursday: revise spellings and tables in preparation for their Friday Test
