After consulting with other local primary principals (Ballywalter, Carrowdore, Donaghadee, Greyabbey, Kircubbin Integrated, Kirkistown, Millisle, Portavogie and Victoria Ballyhalbert), we have taken the collective decision to close the school tomorrow, Tuesday 27th January. This decision is based on EA guidance regarding Storm Chandra, following the amber weather warnings issued for our local area. Strong winds and heavy rainfall are expected, creating hazardous driving conditions, particularly on coastal roads where high waves are predicted. We thank you for your understanding. School is expected to reopen as normal on Wednesday, unless otherwise communicated.
