Primary 3 and 4 have been enjoying their ‘Food, Glorious Food’ topic so far. We are tasting new foods every other day and have enjoyed making mashed potato to kick off our instructional writing topic. So far we have tasted: dates, dried apricot, cucumber, peppers, pomegranate and spring onions. The children have been so brave trying new foods for the very first time! We are learning about different food groups and working to identify healthy and unhealthy foods. We look forward to learning about foods from around the world in the coming weeks.
