The P6 Chocolate topic was a great success! The children enjoyed using chocolate as a stimulus to write free verse poems. They also enjoyed learning about the Aztec tribe and printed some Aztec symbols. They then worked hard over many weeks on their Dragons’ Den persuasive writing project, to produce an advertisement for their team’s bar, which they then pitched to the Dragons. As a team, they made decisions on the ingredients, theme, name, price, wrapper, slogan and prize. Each team member entered the Dragons’ Den with confidence and enthusiasm.
