Purple Class were delighted to be invited to the pier in Ballyhalbert to meet a local artist called Martin McClure.
Martin explained to the children that he has been commissioned to create a mosaic along the walls of the pier and he would like to include artwork from the children and from members of the community.
Martin then held a workshop in the classroom to teach the children how to create their pictures on the ceramic pebbles.
