As part of our World Book Day celebrations, S1 and L1 enjoyed exploring the wonderful story, The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The classes used the story to explore and engage with a variety of fun activities.
Pupils took part in art activities, created colourful caterpillars and butterflies, explored the story through sensology, and enjoyed role play as they retold the picture book. One of the highlights of the day was tasting some of the delicious foods that the caterpillar ate in the story.
It was a fantastic day of storytelling and hands-on learning, bringing the book to life.
