We were delighted to welcome a very special visitor to school in May. Lexi, an amazing assistance dog, joined us for his first visit with his owner, Gary, and will be returning every Monday for the next three weeks.
The children were excited to meet Lexi and thoroughly enjoyed learning about the important role assistance dogs play in supporting people in their daily lives. There were lots of smiles and thoughtful questions as the children got to know both Lexi and Gary.
We would like to thank Gary and Lexi for spending the afternoon with us and we are looking forward to welcoming them back next Monday afternoon for another fantastic visit!
