What happens if our bubble bursts?

1st Oct 2020

We have had a successful return to school and there are many procedures in place to keep children and staff as safe as possible. Thank you for your support with procedures such as staggered starts/finishes and maintaining social distancing at pick up times. Hopefully the following information will not be needed but this will inform you what will happen if there is a positive case of Covid-19 in our class.

If a child or member of staff from our 'bubble' tests positive for Covid-19, our bubble will need to self-isolate at home for 14 days (from last contact with positive case).

In this case, online learning will take place via Seesaw.

If a child has been in contact with a positive case outside of our class, and is therefore self-isolating at home, only the child's family will be affected and our bubble will not burst. If this happens to your family, please refer to the class page on our website, where we will post the main learning for Literacy and Numeracy each week.

Please use this information to work with your child at home. Homework activities will still be sent via Seesaw.

This is a challenging time for everyone but it has been lovely to welcome the children back to school and see their smiling faces each day! Thank you for all your support.
