P1/2 and L1 celebrated World Book Day with a focus on The Smartest Giant in Town by Julia Donaldson. In our PE Dance lesson we took on the role of different characters and we enjoyed exploring the story during our outdoor play session.
We created a new house for the mice in the sandpit, shopped for some smart new clothes, made some tasty treats for George’s party, built a new boat for the goat, and constructed a bridge to help the dog cross the muddy bog!
The sunshine and blue sky was an added bonus to a wonderful day!
